If there was ever a time the statement, "I'm bored" from a kid was completely understandable...NOW WOULD BE THAT TIME.

Like you we're trying everything to keep ourselves and our kids occupied. Games are our thoughtless go to. We have a closet full of board games, cards, and puzzles.

Here's 5 of our favorite games that everyone, regardless of age, can enjoy:
  • Twister. This age old classic is great to stay active and get good laugh in. Our little guy likes to control the spinner and run away with it mid spin.
  • UNO. Who doesn't love uno? Since there's a million ways to play and bunch of versions make sure everyone is playing by the same rules.
  • Candy Land. The new verision is slightly different and looks a little weird. (I'm probably just attached to the older one.)
  • Hop Scotch. Depending on where you are that may not be an option for you. If it is chalk is the best material to use. Yet, paint, paper, or rope can be used to create the obstacle.
  • Snap. This is a card game that I had never heard of before someone bought Kobe a Toy Story tin full of different card games. The deck is split into 2 even piles. You take turns flipping a card and when you have 2 matching cards you smack your deck and yell "snap!" Obviously it's fun for the kids and I get a kick out of shocking Kobe with my extra loud smack and "snap!" LOL

What games are keeping you guys busy and smiling?
